On June 11, the International Symposium on Industry-Education Integration in Vocational Education was successfully held at our university. Attendees included Professor Gábor Halász (Emeritus Professor, former Dean of the Doctoral School, Eötvös Loránd University, Hungary), Ms. Junke Ma (Executive Director of Wekerle International University, Hungary), Associate Professor Tengteng Zhuang from Beijing Normal University, Dr. Min Huang and Dr. Yang Yang of Eötvös Loránd University.
Co-organized by the Western China Institute of Industry-Education Integration, the School of Electrical Engineering, the School of International Education and INOVANCE Technology, the symposium was hosted by Qin Jingjun, Dean of the School of International Education.
Before the event, Ma Xiaoyun, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, met with Professor Gábor Halász and his delegation. He welcomed the guests and introduced the university’s background and features, hoping to deepen exchanges to cultivate high-quality skilled talents.
Professor Gábor Halász shared EU practices in promoting industry-education cooperation and compared vocational education in China and Europe.
Yang Yanbo presented the report Shaanxi Polytechnic University’s Practice in Deepening Industry-Education Integration in Vocational Education. Dong Jiahui delivered a report on high-skilled talent training via university-enterprise cooperation. Jing Chenguang from INOVANCE Technology introduced the firm’s partnership with our university.
Participants exchanged views on vocational education and industry-education integration in China and Hungary.
Professor Gábor Halász’s delegation also toured the university’s training centers, including the CATL New Energy Power Battery Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering Technology Center.
